Sharron returns with a bang

The fans and players alike were holding their collective breaths waiting for the return of star winger Matt Sharron: and boy did he deliver.

Sharron was instrumental in the Wings 2-0 victory over a tough Firespinners team, netting the game winning goal and setting up the other on his way to being named first star of the game.

“It was great to finally be back on the ice and contribute,” said Sharron. “It’s been a long and painful rehab and I wanna thank the Wings training staff, my family, the players and the coaching staff for never losing faith in me and giving me a chance to succeed.”

Sharron found himself on a line with Machon and Godbout and they didn’t take any time in finding some chemistry.

“He’s so easy to play with. He’s sees the ice well and has a nose for the net,” said Machon. “The only disappointing thing was he didn’t shower after the game.”

The Wings currently have the top three scorers in the league and Sharron is soon to join them soon.
