Hartmann clears COVID protocols, returns on Friday; Sloan a game-time decision
Center Mike Hartmann has officially been released from CAHL COVID protocols after producing two negative tests.
“I feel great. Really looking forward to getting back out there with the guys,” said Hartmann. “Going to get a practice in Wednesday then I should be good to go on Friday.”
The Wings didn’t lose a beat without Hartmann in the lineup, improving to 6-0 on the season after last weeks victory.
“It’s great that we were able to win, but any time you get back one of your top two centers its a great feeling,” said GM Godbout. “It’s up to the coach where he will slide Hartmann into the lineup, but I expect him to see lots of ice.”
In other news, newly signed defenceman Glen Sloan is expected to be a game-time decision on Friday. Sloan has missed the last two games with a lower body injury.
